HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL TANNING TIPS COCO BEACH YOUNGSVILLE!
Bronzer Lotions
Bronzers are added to tanning lotions to further darken and enhance tanning results. Using a bronzer can also help blend unevenly tanned areas! There are three types:
Cosmetic Bronzer: provides immediate and temporary results with cosmetic color
DHA Bronzer: delayed bronzer that produces color results within 4 hours of applying; typically lasts up to seven days depending on personal habits
Natural Bronzer: composed of natural ingredients like caramel, henna, and black walnut; easier on sensitive skin
Accelerator & Intensifier / Maximizer Lotions:
For tanners looking for lotion without bronzers, look no further! These lotions have ingredients that will help moisturize your skin and have ingredients that will work with your skin’s natural melanin production. Accelerator lotions are considered for those who are new to tanning. Intensifier / Maximizer lotions are considered for those who are already familiar with tanning. HOWEVER, you can choose either lotion regardless of your experience!
Color Correcting Lotions
Another great option for tanners that don’t want a bronzing lotion. Color correctors are usually blue or purple toned lotions that combat any unwanted orange undertones. These lotions help to create a flawless, even tan.
Tingle Lotions
Tingle lotions are made with ingredients that increase the skin’s microcirculation. With increased microcirculation, UV light can penetrate through the skin more easily and increase tanning results. These lotions cause a “tingling” effect and cause the skin to redden and a heat sensation. Make sure to NEVER use on sensitive areas, such as the face and to wash your hands after applying (to avoid rubbing eyes or any other sensitive area). We recommend this lotion to EXPERIENCED tanners.
